Angela Dawn Aguilar

Angela “Angie” Dawn Aguilar, age 48 of Benton City, WA. passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017. Angela was born July 30, 1969 in Sunnyside, WA. to Martin Sr. and Christine (Parker) Aguilar. Angela graduated from Grandview High School with the class of 1987 and received her Bachelor and Masters degrees from Phoenix University.  She worked for many years with the Washington River Protection Services as an assessment program lead.  Angela enjoyed four wheeling, running marathons and camping. She truly cherished the time she could spend playing with her grandkids. Angela was an avid Seattle Seahawks fan and had a special place in her heart for her dogs. Angela was also a long time Soccer Referee. She was a member of the St. Joseph Church in Sunnyside, WA.

Angela is survived by her loving children Adelle Bermudez (Carlos) of Kennewick, WA. and Justin Garcia of Benton City, WA. her grandchildren Izayah, Isaac, and Isabella Bermudez. She is also survived by her siblings Teresa Ortiz and Martin Rodriguez Aguilar Jr. She is preceded in death by her mother Christine J. Parker.

Viewing and visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home in Grandview, WA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview, WA.
