Angelina Ortega Castellanos

Angelina Ortega Castellanos age 83 of Sunnyside, WA, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 in Sunnyside, WA. Angelina was born December 25, 1932 in Chinicuila Michoacán, Mexico the daughter of Natividad and Josephine (Castellanos) Ortega.

Angelina enjoyed sewing, kniting and loved plants and flowers. She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview, WA.

She is survived by her children Alicia Carrasco, Maria Ortega, Vicente Carrasco, Gustavo Carrasco, Leonel Carrasco, Rigoberto Carrasco, Usiel Carrasco and Israel Carrasco. She is also survived by 43 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren and her brother Nativida Ortega and sisters Consuelo Ortega and Rosa Ortega, . She is preceded in death by her siblings Enedina Ortega, Elvira Ortega, Salvador Ortega and Miguel Ortega.

Viewing and visitation will be Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Grandview, WA. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 13, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview, WA.
