Beatris Cavasos

Beatris Cantu Cavasos, 60, died Wednesday morning on December 7th at her home with her family by her side after battling cancer. Beatris was born April 18th, 1956, in Edinburg Texas to Gauldino and Dominga Cantu. In 1973, Beatris and Louis married on September 29th. She worked as a Para-pro for the Sunnyside and Granger school district for many years. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved to cook, dance and spend quality time with family. She loved and cared for all her family,  Beatris is survived by her husband Louis Cavasos, and children, Gabino & Sonia Cavasos with 6 grandchildren, Louis & Elizabeth (Tish) Cavasos, Zacharias Cavasos with 2 grandchildren, Victoria Cavasos with 3 grandchildren, Evelinda & Darlene Cavasos with 2 grandchildren, Justin & Gabriella Cavasos with 3 grandchildren, and Xavier & Jessica Cavasos with 1 grandchild; brothers, Leo, Chemo, Gauldino Jr., Antilano, Pedro, Andres, Tony, and Sam; sisters Frances (Kika), Loly, Manuela, and Delia with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends. She is preceded in death by her son Little Louie; parents, Gauldino and Dominga Cantu; brothers John, Bob; sisters Estella, Mary, Anna, Bertha and Sandra; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
