Berneita M. Winberry

Berneita M. Winberry, age 87, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 in Grandview, WA surround by her family.  She was born on June, 21, 1930 in Elkar, Kansas the daughter of Benjamin and Gladys (Lottie Allen) Ullom.  Her family moved to Yakima when she was six years old.  In 1964, she and her husband Guy Winberry moved to Grandview and opened Grandview Automotive until retirement.

Berneita and Guy loved to fish, spending many vacation at the ocean with friends and family. 

Berneita is survived by daughters Beatrice Nielsen of Grandview, WA, Cynthia Winberry of Kennewick, WA, Teresa Hutsell of Kirkland, WA. Brothers Emery Ullom of Silverdale, WA, Richard Ullom (Cleidi) of Gresham, OR, sister Carolyn Vibbert of Snohomish, WA, eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to American Cancer Society.  Inurnment graveside service will be held Friday, February 16, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Grandview Cemetery.  Those wishing to sign Berneita’s online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com   Smith Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
