Christine J. Parker

Christine J. Parker, age 70, longtime Grandview area resident died Thursday, October 8, 2015 in Sunnyside, WA.  Christine J. Parker was born July 25, 1945 in Boise, Idaho the daughter of Robert Evan and Bessie C. (Johnson) Parker.  She spent her early years in Idaho and at a young age moved with her family to Grandview where she received her education and graduated from Grandview High School.  Christine was employed by the State of Washington as a nutritionist and worked as a cook in many restaurants in the lower valley for years.  She was a member of the Grandview V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.  She loved crafting, sewing, fishing, camping and going to the mountains.  She is survived by three children: Martin Aguilar and wife Lisa and Terresa Ortiz and husband Agustin all of Sunnyside, WA and Angie Aguilar of Benton City, WA.  She is also survived by eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one brother, David.  She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Andy and Mike.  At Christine’s request there will be no services held at this time.  The family will have a Memorial Dinner in the spring of 2016.  Those wishing to sign Christine’s online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com.   Smith Funeral Home, LTD in care of arrangements.
