Clarence Martin Jeske

Clarence Martin Jeske, of Grandview, WA passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015 in Sunnyside on his 81st birthday.  Clarence was born on July 2, 1934 in Jamestown, North Dakota the son of Edward and Mary (Butz) Jeske.  At the age of 8, he with his parents moved to the Yakima Valley.  Clarence cut asparagus for the neighbors and loved working on the family farm.  He was a devoted son and stayed at home caring for his parents.  Clarence enjoyed fishing and gospel music. He is survived by two sisters, Alice Hill of Wapato, WA, Irene Reeves of Richland, WA. and numerous nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers Henry, Arthur, Herman and Reuben Jeske.

Viewing and visitation will be held on Monday, July 6, 2015 from1:00 pm to 5:00 pm and Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 8:30 am to 9:30 am at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA.  A graveside will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 10:00 am at the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside.
