Daphne Beryl Green went to be with her Lord and Savior early Wednesday November 23, 2016. Daphne was born in Bishop's Stortford, England, April 12, 1934 and was raised there. She married her beloved husband Edwin Raymond Green, who was serving in the US Air Force, on August 7, 1954 in Bishop’s Stortford. They lived in many places while he was in the military and after his retirement when he pastored at several churches in Washington.

She will be deeply missed by her children; Yvonne (Jim) Jackson, Gary (Jennifer) Green, Wayne (Linnea) Green, Bridget Butler and Gerard (Wendy) Green; 19 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and all those whose lives she touched along the way. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law Timm Butler, her great granddaughter Poet Fisk, a daughter-in-law Luci Green and her grandson Joshua Jackson.

Daphne enjoyed baking, camping, family vacations and knitting; she knitted many beautiful items for her kids & grandkids. Her favorite place was anywhere on a beach near a lighthouse, especially the Oregon Coast. She worked tirelessly with her husband in various church ministries as Sunday school teacher, Church secretary, Sunday school superintendent, women's ministry, children's church and whatever need arose. She had a real passion for service to the church and in the later years was deeply involved in Operation Christmas Child boxes.
