Darlene G. Krumsick

Darlene G. Krumsick, age 79,  of Yakima, WA and former Grandview, WA resident went to be in the arms of her Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 24, 2016 in Yakima, WA. Darlene was born on March 12, 1937 in Lakeview  South Dakota the daughter of Gertrude (Schryvers) and Alvin Eucker. She received her education in Valentine, Nebraska.  On April 16, 1955 Darlene married the love of her life, Carl “Bud” Krumsick at  the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Grandview, WA. Following their marriage Bud and Darlene made Grandview, WA their home.  Darlene worked and retired as a baker for the Grandview School District. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Grandview, WA. Darlene enjoyed gardening, traveling, holiday baking and summer trips to the beach at Sea Side, Oregon.  Last but not least she cherished time spent with her grandchildren. 

Darlene is survived by two daughters, Carla Millin (David) of Yakima, WA and Kami Dominguez (Chris) of Sunnyside, WA.  One son, Ron Krumsick of Yakima, WA, four grandchildren Travis Millin, Trent Millin, Kyle Lucas and Kayla Lucas, one great granddaughter on the way and one brother, Richard Eucker of San Diego, CA.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl “Bud” Krumsick and four brothers, Howard, Art, Don and Bob. 

Viewing and visitation will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday, July 29, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA. Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, Sunnyside, WA.  Those wishing to sign Darlene’s online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com  In lieu of flower memorials may be made to Yakima Memorial Hospice or Cottage in the Meadow.
