Estaban Salas-Muñoz

Esteban Salas-Muñoz, 55, of Grandview, WA passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family.   Esteban was born on August 9, 1962 in Jalisco, Mexico the son of Santos and Guadalupe (Muñoz) Salas. Esteban cherished time spent with his fourteen grandchildren.    He also enjoyed caring for his farm animals, tending to his garden and working for Olsen Brothers.

Esteban is survived by his wife, Josefina Salas of Grandview, WA.  Children Juanita Adriana Salas, Ana Maria Espinoza, Esteban Jr. Rodriguez-Salas, Maria Macias Salas all of Grandview, WA and Jose Manuel Salas of Mexico.  Fourteen grandchildren, Juanito, Jorge, Jadylex, Alicia, Lupita, Jocelyn, Mellissa, Monica, Jelena, Hayle, Anai, Rubi, Esteban and Jayden,  two brothers Serigo Salas-Muñoz, Manuel Salas-Muñoz, four sisters Elena Salas-Muñoz, Romeula Salas-Muñoz, Maria Salas-Muñoz and Delia Salas-Muñoz.

Viewing and visitation will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside, WA.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview, WA.  Burial will follow at the Grandview Cemetery.  Those wishing to sign Esteban’s online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com   Smith Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
