Fernando Guillen

Fernando Sainz Guillen Sr. age 85 of Grandview, WA passed away on Friday, December 2, 2016 in Grandview, WA. Fernando was born August 21, 1931 in Leaday, Texas the son of Panfilo and Jovita (Sainz) Guillen. He received his early education in Texas. On October 27, 1951  he married Eufemia Capetillo in San Carlos, Mexico. Fernando was a farm laborer for many years. He attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview, WA.

Fernando is survived by his loving wife Eufemia Guillen of Grandview, WA, ten children; Elsa Guillen (Vicente), Javier Guillen (Alfia), Fernando Guillen (Esperanza), Ricardo Guillen (Elvia), Edilia Guillen (Joe) all of Grandview, Miguel Guillen (Balvina), Martin Guillen (Romelia), Marylou Villalon (Jaime), Gema Rodriguez (Roy) all of Pasco, WA and Marco Guillen (Angelica) of Bickleton. He is also survived by thirty grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, sister Lucia Guerrero and brother Daniel Flores. He was preceded in death by his parents, great grandchild Quintin J. Brummett-Guillen, sisters Elisa Sanchez, Ma. del Refugio Valladares and brother Jesus Guillen.

Viewing and visitation will be Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 1:00 to 8:00 pm with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Grandview, WA. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview, WA with burial to follow at Grandview Cemetery in Grandview, WA.
