What a wonderful man your father was. Uncle Gene had a heart of gold. He brought my little girl her first puppy and they named it Bam Bam that's been 44 years ago. Marina I live in Renton Wash not far from you. It was be so great to visit with you. You kids will be in our thoughts and prayers. I am the third daughter to Perry & Evelyn Thompson.

I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Gene. He was one of those uncles that liked to kid with you. I loved to watch them all cut meat in the basement of our house on 5th street. Another great one gone.

Fond memories of Uncle Gene include sledding in the winter at Glenwood, tasty dinners at his home in Outlook, enjoying his sense of humor, and knowing that he shared unconditional love. His death diminishes our family and leaves a large hole. He was a very special man.
May many happy memories, the support of family and friends, and the strong arms of Jesus carry Tony, Marina, and Steven (and other family members) through this difficult time. Thank you especially to Tony for graciously shouldering the responsibilities and duties Uncle Gene's diminished health and death have brought. Uncle Gene's legacy of laughter and concern for others lives on in his family.
My love and prayers to each one. Look to Jesus, who gives songs in the night.
