Harley Russell Riel Jr.

Harley Russell Riel Jr. passed away Friday, November 24, 2017 in Yakima, WA. Harley was born February 4, 1940 in Aberdeen, South Dakota the son of Harley and Pearl (Melcher) Riel. Harley graduated from Central High School in Aberdeen and attended Northern State College in South Dakota. On December 30, 1972 he married Nancy A. Keeney in Oroville, WA.  Harley worked as the Branch Manager for Sea-First National Bank for many years. He loved to golf, bowl and go hunting. Harley was a member of the AM Vets and Elks.

Harley is survived by his loving wife Nancy Riel of Sunnyside, WA, three children; Tamara Wallin (Kurt), Thomas Riel (Ana) and Jerry Keeney (Jacquie). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and siblings; Ruben Riel, Donna Ryman, Paul Riel and Nora Kay Riel. He is preceded in death by his parents Harley and Pearl Riel, son Troy M. Riel and three sisters June Kay Riel, Edna Fry and Mary Alice Rappe.
