Jesusa M. Lozano

Jesusa Lozano, 63, of Grandview, WA went to be in the arms of her Heavenly Father on Monday, May 15, 2017.  Jesusa was born on August 29, 1953 in Grand Rapids, Michigan the daughter of Magdalena (Toledo) and Hermilo Mendoza.  She received her early education in Grandview, WA.  On July 24, 1976 she married Pablo Lozano Jr. in Prosser, WA.  Jesusa worked over thirteen years at Snokist in Grandview, WA before she retired. She cherished time spent with her grandkids, shopping, dinners at Old Country Buffet in Yakima, WA and a few trips to the casino.

Jesus is survived by four children, Priscilla J. Morrow (Edward) of Grandview, WA, Christopher Lozano of Kennewick, WA, Mariaelena Lozano of Grandview and Isabel Lozano of Seattle, WA.  She is also survived by seven grandchildren, six siblings Anita Mendez of Sunnyside, WA, Maria Vidaurri (Jose) of Prosser, WA, Connie Ramos (Samuel) of Sunnyside, WA, Hermilo Mendoza Jr. of Prosser, WA, Eduardo Mendoza (Colleen) of Prosser, WA and Mary Lou Clark (Tony) of Troutdale, Or.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Magdalena and Hermilo Mendoza, husband Pablo Lozano Jr., one brother Juan Jose Mendoza and brother-in-law Francisco Mendez.

Viewing and visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be Recited at 6:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside, WA.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Prosser, WA.  Burial will follow at the East Prosser Cemetery.  Those wishing to sign Jesusa’s online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com   Smith Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
