Johnny Monroe Howell

Johnny Monroe Howell, age 58, of Sunnyside, WA and lifetime valley resident passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017 in Sunnyside, WA.  Johnny was born on April 22, 1959 in Prosser, WA the son of Kelly and Darlene Bessie (Palmer) Howell.   Johnny received his education in Grandview, WA.    He was a jack of all trades having various jobs throughout his working career including working for Moxee Furniture Company and Carl Kern Construction.  Johnny loved fishing, playing poker and family gathering, especially the food.   

Johnny is survived by two sons, Jason Howell and Jeremy Howell. His mother, Darlene Valler,  two sisters Sandy Kern (Carl)  and Vickey Moore (Marvin)  and three brothers Ben Abrams (Jean), Andy Abrams (Robin)  and Danny Abrams. He is also survived by two grandchildren  Autumn and Brayden Howell.   He is preceded in death by his father, Kelly Howell and nephew Sean Abrams.   A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at the Cornerstone Assembly of God Church in Sunnyside, Washington.  Those wishing to sign Johnny’s online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com    Smith Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
