Juan Rodriguez III, age 42, of Tigard, OR. passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016 in Tigard, OR. He was born June 15, 1973 in Toppenish, WA. to Juan Rodriguez Jr. and Maria De Los Angeles Gonzalez. Juan graduated from Mabton High School 1991. He attended Eastern in Cheney, WA. Graduated from Cambridge College in Beaverton, OR. as a pharmaceutical Tech. Juan Married the love of his life Rosa Ofelia Verdin on April, 2, 2005 in Santana, CA. He was a hard working family man. Juan started working at a young age from cutting asparagus in Mabton and Pasco, WA. to picking berries at the coast in Lynden, WA. Later ending the season at the potato warehouse in Oregon. The last 9 years he worked side by side with his good friend/boss Jessica Puls at Moda Health in Tigard, OR. What Juan loved the most was spending time with his family. He liked to go camping, berry picking, cutting down his own x-mas trees, dancing, listening to his tejano music, BBQing, watching his Dallas Cowboys and LA Lakers play on game days. He enjoyed giving everybody a hard time about their teams and how his teams were the best! Juan had great memories of the Lavanderia dances held at the campos with his cousins. He was an active member of Saint Anthony Catholic Church in Tigard, OR. Juan is survived by his wife Rosa Ofelia Rodriguez of Tigard, OR. children Citlali Carolina (Mi Cachetona) Rodriguez of Tigard, OR. Adamari Lizette (Chaparini) Rodriguez of Tigard, OR. and a godson whom he loved like a son Ventura (Mi Perrito) Rodriguez in Sunnyside, WA. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters Arnulfo Rodriguez (Rachell) of Sunnyside, WA. Norberto Rodriguez (Nancy) of Mabton, WA. Maria Estefana Rodriguez (Juan) of Outlook, WA. and Yuri Rodriguez (Adam) of Yakima, WA. Juan is preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents Juan and San Juanita Rodriguez, Maternal Grandparents Roberto and Feliciana Gonzalez and Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Viewing and visitation will be held Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside, WA. With Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will take place Friday, April 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sunnyside, WA.
