Kevin R. Poe

Kevin R. Poe, age 52, of Bothell, WA and former Yakima Valley resident passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in Seattle, WA.  Kevin was born on February 27, 1964 in Edmonds, WA the son of Jacqueline “Jackie” Parker and Walter Wayne “Buster” Poe.   Kevin graduated from East Valley High School with the Class of 1982 where he played football and wrestled.  After graduation Kevin became a plasterer and lived and worked in the Seattle Area.  He spent three years working on fishing and crabbing boats in Alaska, before returning to Washington.  Kevin was an avid fisherman and he liked nothing better than spending time on the water with friends and family.  

He is survived by his loving mom, Jackie Poe of Prosser, WA.  One brother, Christopher Poe of Grandview and one sister and brother-in-law Edree and Stephen Rutherford of Benton City, WA.  Kevin is also survived by nephews Dameon, Jacobb, Jonathan and David, nieces Elana, Laurin and Jackie and many good friends on both sides of the mountains.  He is preceded in death by his father, Walter Wayne “Buster” Poe  in 2014.
