Margarette "Jo" JoAnne Hart

 Margarette JoAnne (Jo) Hart of Grandview, Washington, died peacefully on July 25, 2015 in Prosser, WA. surrounded by her family. She was born January 28, 1930 in Kansas City, Missouri to Loretta and Frank Schuette. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Keith, her parents Loretta and Frank; brothers Fred and Bernard.

Part of her childhood was spent in Sunnyside, WA. where her family farmed and then later she lived in Portland, Oregon where she attended Girls Polytechnic High School. She married Keith Hart and made their home on the Satus. Jo attended nursing school while her husband raised mint, corn, grapes, and hay with six children at home in Mabton, WA. She was a very busy farmer’s wife, an amazing feat. Jo worked 25-years as a nurse at Walnut Grove in Grandview, WA. Keith and Jo later owned and operated Apple Valley Motel in Grandview, WA. After they retired they took many trips notably to: Hawaii, Florida, South Carolina, and Branson. Jo also enjoyed reading, movies, music and spending time with her family and her best little buddy Sophie.

She was the loving mother to Daniel Hart(Josie deceased), Randle Sharpe(Jim), Billie Jean Hart-Miller(Bruce), Jannette Smith(Dale), Michelle Dilbeck(Rex), and Carol Schnell(Dennis). Jo was a proud loving grandparent to Becky, Sarah, Kiley, John, Christine, Shane, Samantha, Stacey, Dylan, and Jordyn. Her great grandchildren are: Cody, Megan, Jackson, Colby, Ashlyn, Veronica, Elizabeth, Sam, Avery, Katharine, and Kaden. Great-great grandchild Andie Jo. A combined total of 22 grandchildren.

Private services and burial will be at the Mabton Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers those who wish to honor her memory may contribute to Heartlinks Hospice, 3920 Outlook Road Sunnyside, WA. 98944.
