Maria F. Espinoza

Maria F. Espinoza age 82 of Sunnyside, WA passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018 in Sunnyside, WA. Maria was born August 17, 1935 in San Antonio, Texas the daughter of Margarito and Angelita (De La Torres) Flores. Maria attended elementary school in Texas. On April 1, 1957 Maria married Alfredo Espinoza in Prosser, WA. Maria enjoyed sewing and quilting. She also loved cooking for the holidays and spending time with her family. Maria was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Maria is survived by her six children; Alfredo Espinoza Jr. (D.Anne) of Greshham, OR., Eliberto Espinoza of Seattle, WA., Gabriel Espinoza (Isabel) of Yakima, WA., Rose Garza of Sunnyside, WA., Christopher Espinoza (Emily) of Seattle, WA. and Daniel Espinoza of Yakima, WA. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Alfredo Espinoza Sr., parents Margarito and Angelita Flores, brothers Cruz Flores and Lino Flores, sisters Aurora Flores Rodriguez and Rosa Flores Sanchez.

Viewing and visitation will be held Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with recitation of Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sunnyside, WA. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, March 9, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sunnyside, WA with burial to follow at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside, WA.
