Ardell C. McNerney and Marilea R. Covey married on December 19, 1953 (63 years) and spent most of their lives in the Wenatchee area.  They had six children; Sonny C. During her lifetime, Marilea was a full-time homemaker, wife, mother of six, grandmother of thirteen, and great-grandmother of sixteen (with another on the way). The love and care of her family absorbed her every minute. She truly enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.  Her hobbies included sewing, cross-stitch and garage-saling.  She loved camping with her family and RVing with her husband. Marilea was an active member of her church and a faithful, born-again Christian.

Marilea is survived by her husband, Ardell of Sun Terrace, Sunnyside; sister, Lorella Vaughn of Arkansas; sons, Sonny, Lonnie and Cliff from Sunnyside, WA and Terry of the Philippines; daughter, Korina Jarvis from Ellensburg; daughter-in-laws, Roxanne, Theresa, and Mary; and son-in-law, Wayne Johnson, as well as her thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Harvey Covey and daughter, Sherry R. Johnson.
