Every now and then a patient will grab my heart. Marland really grabbed my heart. From the first day I met him, he had me!! I will never be able to smell Brute cologne again without thinking of this man. What a kind and gentle man he was. He loved his family so much. He knew how lucky he was. He was humble. He was a fighter. I know his passing will leave a big hole the lives of his family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. It was a privilege knowing this man.

Papa Pete was one of the greats and he will be missed by all. We loved that he was always so sweet to us and our girls. His smile would light up a room and his love for his family and community was amazing to see. Gone, but never forgotten.
