Ramon Cortez Acevedo

Ramon Cortez Acevedo, age 60, of Grandview, WA passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at his home.  Ramon was born on July 19, 1956 in Colima, Colima Mexico the son of Magdalena Ramona (Cortez) and Angel Ramos Acevedo.   Ramon graduated from high school and later attended technical school.  On August 21, 1976 he married Evangelina Sanchez in Sunnyside, WA.   Ramon enjoyed farming, growing vegetables, raising goats and pigs.   He loved dancing, karaoke, music, mariachi and movies.  Ramon cherished family gatherings, eating pastries, homemade cakes and was a great storyteller.

He is survived by his loving wife, Evangelina Acevedo of Grandview, WA.  Three children  Ramiv (Patricia)  Acevedo of Yakima, WA, Yasilia Luu (Nam) of Kennewick,WA, Edmar Acevedo of Grandview, WA.  Ramon is also survived by one grandson Asuran Delarosa, four brothers Miguel A. Acevedo Cortez, Frank Acevedo Cortez, Edward Acevedo Cortez and Juan M. Acevedo Cortez and a sister Maria A. Acevedo Saenz and numerous nieces and nephews .  He is preceded in death by his parents Magdalena Ramona and  Angel Acevedo Ramos Acevedo,  son, Jodan Acevedo.
