Robert "Bob" D. Moore

Robert “Papa Bob” Dean Moore, age 69, loving GRANDFATHER, husband, father, brother and friend went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 25, 2015. Bob was born on September 26, 1946 in Seattle, Washington to Bertha and Lyle (Seitz) Moore. Bob had spent the last 35 years of his life in Sunnyside, Washington many of them with the love of his life Sue until her passing in 2008. Bob was plumber by trade but most of all he was a full time Grandfather to his grandchildren. Bob never met a stranger,  not only was he a friend to many he was “Papa Bob” to all of his grandchildren and their friends. Whether you were far or near, if you needed him “Papa Bob” would always be there. Bob enjoyed the warm weather, traveling with his family and he loved the beach and had spent the last several winters in Hawaii. Bob was a regular face in the crowd at his grandchildren’s basketball games or even cheer practice. Bob had a daily routine which always included picking up his grandchildren from school taking them to after school activities or running them where ever they needed to go. Bob sense of humor set him apart from others and they broke the mold when he was born. His dedication to his family and friends will be truly missed. “Papa Bob” is survived by his two sons Wayne Linder and wife Wendi of Outlook, WA. and son Jamie Linder and wife Hope of Pasco, WA. Five grandchildren Layne and Lilly of Outlook, WA. and Maguire, Avoree and Madison of Pasco, WA. Bob is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife Sue.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday December 5, 2015 at 11:00 am at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sunnyside, WA.
