My dearest grandmother! You will truly be missed! I learned so much from you as I was growing up. Loved all my time spent with you as a child and all my summers with all my Aunt and Uncles. You taught me so much from speaking Spanish, to cooking making something good to eat even if we didn't have anything in our home, sew and how to keep a clean house. I just never got your green thumb, but I'm proud to say your great great daughter Jody did and I know you would had been proud of her. You taught me respect and that has always been important to me and that for sure I passed on to my children and their children. I have so many memories that I will treasure forever and pass to my children and grandchildren. I know mom is happy to see you again for I know she missed you so. Love you! You are at peace! for you lived a ruff but also a good life and taught everyone something about life!!

To the family,
I am so sorry for your lost. I know that this is a devastating event that has taken place in your life. But one thing that can comfort you is what God says at Revelation 21:3,4 which says that he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more. So we wont have to worry about losing another love one again. Be strong and take comfort for what God promises all of us.

We were blessed to meet Rosa at the wedding of Art Ledesma and Nancy. Rosa was all love and joy! From the several Ledesma family members we were able to meet, it was obvious to us, how wonderful of a matriarch Rosa was to her entire extended family. We know how dearly you all will miss her, as she was a cherished part of your lives. May God's love comfort you and give you peace. Much Love and Prayers to Art and Nancy, and the entire Ledesma family.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I too have lost family members and know this can be one of the most difficult things to go through. I just wanted to leave you with a scripture that has helped me and let you know your family will be in my prayers. The scripture is Acts 24:15 and it talks about a hope of a resurrection when we could see our loved ones again.

I closed my eyes and let my mind go back to 1965 when my son, John and I traveled to Washington to meet Rosa and the family. What a delightful and unforgettable memory that is along with many others. Rosa was always so welcoming and full of life and an excellent cook. She taught me how to make tortillas and gave me a plaqua (sp?) to cook them on and a mocajeta (sp?) to help me make salsa. Still have them and will pass on to Alina. I never got to know her as well as i would have liked to. 😢

She was the strongest woman that I have ever known, she never minced words, always told you what she thought and loved her Chinese food. She taught me how to color, danced me around the house to Mexican music, made the best macaroni and cheese, tried to take tips off of tables,( LOL) pinched off pieces of plants from wherever and loved her butterflies ( mariposas). She always told me she loved me..I am sorry for our loss and I am a better woman because of her. I love you grandma.
