Vera met the love of her life, Keith Jensen, while he was serving in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. On February 8, 1949, she and Keith were married. Vera was a member of the Alder Creek Pioneer Association, the Bickleton Goodwill Society, the Bickleton Sewing Club, and the Bickleton Presbyterian Church. She was an avid quilter, tole painter, cook, and baker. Vera cherished time spent with her entire family; each family event brought with it good food, laughter, and many happy memories. Vera is survived by sons, Larry Jensen (Pamela), John Jensen (Colleen), all of Bickleton, WA; daughters, Irene Schmidt (Mike) of Sequim, WA, Sally Luiten (Dale) of Medical Lake, WA, and Sue Key of Port Angeles, WA.
