Dale Hays Obituary

Dale A. Hays went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, March 12 at TriCity Chaplaincy Hospice House after a long battle with Cancer.

Dale was born March 26, 1945 to Harold C. and Millie Hays of Grandview.  He attended Grandview Schools and graduated from Grandview High in 1964. He attended Spring Arbor College in Spring Arbor Michigan where he met and married Elizabeth Frey.  After graduating from College and Seminary in Portland Oregon. He pastored several churches in Washington.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Millie Hays, Sister Dorothy Buchanan, sister Betty Nitteburg, and brother Jack Hays.  He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Hays of Grandview, daughter Roxanne Hays of Meridian Idaho, son Scott Hays of Walla Walla Washington, sister Alice Taylor of Sequim, Washington and brother Jerry Hays of Lynnwood Washington, many nieces and nephews and grandsons, Joshua, Lucus, Nathan and Aaron.

Dale was passionate about Jesus and serving God, his goal was to Praise the Lord with his last breath.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Grandview Church of the Nazarene.  Those wishing to sign Dale's online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com  In lieu of flowers those wishing to honor Dale's Memory may contribute to the Extra Mile Student Center in Grandview, WA.  Smith Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
