Allean "Georgie" G. Barnes

Allean “Georgie” Barnes age 75 of Grandview, Washington passed away at her home on Friday, June 30th, 2017 in Grandview.  Georgie was born August 6th, 1941 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of James B O’Donnell and Allean E Fletcher. She completed the 12th grade in Kansas City, Missouri.  On February 4, 1972 she married W.A. Barnes in Kansas City, Missouri. Georgie owned her own Dry Cleaning business in Prosser WA, and help out running the family cherry farm.  Georgie loved people. She never met a stranger and everyone’s name was “Hon”. She enjoyed maintaining her home, also loved spending time with family and friends. She loved to travel, although it was only watching the travel channels. Georgie attended Life Point Church in Prosser, WA.

Georgie is survived by her daughter Debby Barnes Falck (Dale) of Independence, Missouri, three grandchildren Emily Falck Banfield (Chad), Rebecca Falck (Stephenson) and Robert Falck (Alyssa) and five great grandchildren Nathaniel, Natalie, Adalyn, Liliana and Trenton. She is also survived by four sister-in laws Rilla Mathis, Marva Jean Roberts, Shirley Burson Barnes, Linda Barnes, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  She is preceded in death by her husband, W.A. Barnes, her parents James B O’Donnell and Allean E Fletcher, brothers, aunts, uncles, and cousins on both sides of her family.

Viewing and visitation will be held Wednesday, July 5th, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Grandview, WA. Funeral Service will be Thursday, July 6th, 2017 at 11:30 am at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Grandview, WA with burial to follow at Grandview Cemetery in Grandview, WA.
