Davontae Ray Mesa 16, beloved child of God, passed away on November 23, 2018. He was born in Yakima on May 4, 2002. He is survived by his parents Franchesca Mesa and Isaac Sanchez of Yakima. His brothers Elias, Jayden and sister Aubrey. Grandparents John and Betty Sanchez of Yakima. Grandfather Andres Garcia Mesa of Yakima. Also special Aunt Kim Kelley, several more aunts, uncles, and cousins. Davontae also known as Dee and Slim, attended all school years through 11th grade at West Valley school district where he built many lasting friendships. He was fun, loving, a protective big brother, has always been a child with great work ethic whether doing odd jobs for family, or working summer jobs with Aunt Kim. He was active and enjoyed basketball, football, moto X, fishing and had just begun a new love for music and writing lyrics. Memories of his big smile, laughter, and all the love he left behind will forever live on. We believe in a life beyond where sufferings are righted, that while his life here on earth is done-his life beyond has just begun. O lord we give you our deceased child to hold in your loving arms until we meet again.
