Dean Bridger

Dean Bridger age 59 of Prosser, WA passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018 in Prosser, WA. 

Dean graduated from Sunnyside High School in 1977. Dean always worked hard to provide his family with a good life. He worked from the time he was 17 years of age until he retired from Independent Foods (Seneca) as a forklift operator and was an employee there for 40 years.  Dean  was always supportive of his children and their dreams and aspirations.

Dean’s favorite pass time was collecting baseball, basketball, and football cards. He really enjoyed watching football games and rooted for the Washington State Cougars and the Seattle Seahawks.  Dean really enjoyed his time, after retirement, down at Berns mingling with and talking with his many friends he made during his time down there. His enjoyment at Berns was making people smile. He enjoyed telling his stories and joking around with everyone. He was always willing to provide a helping hand no matter what his circumstance may have been. He would give the shirt off his back and his last dollar to help someone out. 

Dean really enjoyed family get togethers and was always willing to open his doors and have his family at the house. Dean enjoyed having his brother, sisters, nieces, nephews, and grandchild surrounding him and just enjoyed have their presence as it put a smile on his face. He was a very happy man up until the end. 

Dean is preceded in death with his mom and dad Shirley Bridger and Leroy Dean Bridger Sr., his grandparents Fredrick Wolff, Katherine Wolff, Chester L. Bridger, Leota Bridger, his Uncle Ronald Bridger, Aunt Wanda Myers, Uncle Darrel Clampitt, and nephew Christopher Graff. 

He is survived by his children, Rebecca Weaver, her husband Damon Griffith and two children Courtney and Kelly Griffith who reside in Prosser, Cassandra Williams her husband Jeremy Williams and their five children, Nickalos Weaver, Maddison Huffstutlar, Avery Williams, Kaedynce Williams, and Mar’Lee William who resides in McAlester, OK, Dustin Bridger who resides in Prosser, and Cory Bridger and his wife Breanna Bridger and their six children, Asher Alexander Boehmer, Stormi Lynn Bridger, Dominick James Bridger, Dausen Wayne Bridger, Laila Marie Bridger, and Lorelei Rose Bridger who resides in Tri-Cities, his sister Deanna Bridger who reside in Prosser and her four children Scot Stephens who resides in Montana, Jeremy Bridger who resides in Seattle, Will Stott who resides in Prosser, Brandee Bridger her husband Patrick Sherlock who resides in Kentucky, Melody Bridger who resides in Yakima and her son Daniel Graff and his wife Kori Graff who reside in Burien, WA, and brother Chet Bridger who resides in Sunnyside and his two daughters Samantha Bridger, Mark Bell, Jordan Bell who resides in Tacoma and Amanda Bridger who resides in Sunnyside, good friend Perla and his great-nieces and nephews.
