Dennis Keith Huth Our beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather Dennis Keith Huth, 68 passed away on Thursday May 30, 2019 in Richland, WA. Dennis was born July 13, 1950 in Toppenish, WA to John & Elsie (nee Bender) Huth. He graduated from Grandview High School with the class of 1968 and joined the Army in 1969, serving in Vietnam; upon returning home he married Linda Turley on 6 January 1973 and they made their home in Grandview where they raised their three children. Dennis served his country with pride and was a life member of VFW & AMVETS, where he held office at the state level; in the year 2000 he was named Washington State AMVET of the Year. He also loved camping, fishing, wood working and visiting the casino. He was a big tease & left a lasting impression on the nurses & doctors who cared for him in his final days. Dennis is preceded in death by his parents and Linda, his loving wife of 43 years. He is survived by his three children: Jodi Riel (Darrell), Toni Huth (Dan), & Cory Huth (Jenni), as well as his grandchildren: Stephanie, Christina, & Roman Martinez, Cody & Colby Blaine, Dennis John (DJ) & Sierra Huth, great grandchildren: Andrew Martinez , Chloe Alexander & Anastazia Blaine, five brothers Darrell (Char), Dan (Jo), Dave (Kathy), Dean (Diana), Darwin (Pam), sisters, Diane Turley (Kerry), Denise Kelly (Ray) and Dona Gresham (Gary).

A  Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday June 7th, 2019 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the AMVETS Dept. of Washington Service Foundation, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to serving veterans in Washington State.
