Gary Duane Lewis Jr.

Gary Duane Lewis Jr. age 34 of Sunnyside, WA, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 in Sunnyside, WA. Gary was born February 6, 1984 in Sunnyside, WA the son of Gary and Linda (Hanks) Lewis. He received his education in Sunnyside.  Gary worked as a line cook in the food restaurant service for many years. He loved visiting and being with family and friends, music and the outdoors.  Gary was very sociable, kind and gentle.  He had a big heart and would do anything for his friends and family.  He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Gary is survived by his four children Jennah, Hailey, Liliana and Lorelei, his mother Linda Lewis of Sunnyside, WA, sisters Devin Palomarez (Pablo) of Sunnyside, WA, Debra Tilley, of Albany, OR, Sarah Stokes of Albany, OR and Lavella Munoz of El Jebel, CO. He is also survived by his grandfather Ed Hanks (Samm), Grandmother Shirley Burson and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Gary Duane Lewis Sr, infant sister Rachel Irene Lewis, great grandparents Millie  and Claude Barnes and grandmother Marjorie Colbert.

Viewing and visitation will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside, WA.  Funeral Service will be Friday, August 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA with burial to follow at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside, WA.  Those wishing to sign Gary’s online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com Smith Funeral Home in care of arrangements,.
