Guillermo William Hernandez

Guillermo William Hernandez age 59 of Sunnyside, WA passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 in Sunnyside, WA. Guillermo was born February 9, 2018 in Juarez, Mexico the son of Rito and Bertha Alicia (Rojas) Hernandez.  Guillermo received his education in Sunnyside and Graduated from Sunnyside High School with the class of 1975. Guillermo worked as an in home day care provider for many years and was a mechanic for Seneca Foods for 40 years. He enjoyed being with kids, traveling, shopping and BBQ’S. Guillermo also loved fishing, camping and family gatherings. He attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. Guillermo was very helpful and he would always help anyone in need.

Guillermo is survived by three brothers Rafael (Alma) Hernandez, Jesse Hernandez, Gabriel Hernandez, three nieces Teresa Bautista, Sandra Bautista, Stephanie Torres, four nephews Miguel Zuniga, Arturo Hernandez, Jose Hernandez and Rafael Hernandez Jr. He is also survived by a significant other Arcelia Hernandez and great nieces and nephews Diego Jimenez, Nevaeh Bautista, Rosalyn Tapia, Jazlynne Zuniga, Francisco Zuniga, Daniel Licea Jr., Delia Zuniga, Elliana Sarabia and Brody Hernandez. He is preceded in death by his parents Rito and Bertha Hernandez, brothers Rito Hernandez Jr., Arturo Hernandez and nephew Francisco Bautista.

Viewing and visitation will be held Monday, February 19, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm with recitation of Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sunnyside, WA. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sunnyside, WA with Burial to follow at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside, WA.
