Grandma Irene was a strong and independent woman. She's the reason our family is now filled with smart, independent women. Irene was the matriarchal head of our family. She kept us a tight-knit group, even as some people moved from Sunnyside. We will miss your generous heart and warm laugh. All my love, Megan.
