Janette Leslie Summers age 66 of Roosevelt, WA passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017 in Union Gap, WA. Janette Leslie Summers was born 14 February 1951 in Huntington Beach, CA. to Kenneth and Sydney (DeVore) Summers and was their fourth child. She came home to a sister, Sally and brothers Joe and John. Most of her early education was in California. Jan was married in 1966 to Charles Stilson Robison IV and they had a son, Charles V on September 28, 1967. Jan loved to surf and went from Southern California beaches to Corpus Christi beaches. She graduated high school from W.B.   Ray High School in Corpus Christi,TX. She moved back to Altadena, CA in 1969 and attended  John Robert Powers School of Modeling in Pasadena and also attended Pasadena City College for  one  year.  Jan was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority while in college. She worked as a photographer's model in Hollywood, CA. while attending nursing school in West Covina, CA.  Jan always loved to sketch and paint and hike and passed that on to her nephew, Shawn DeVore, nieces Lora& Lisa Robles and their children.She is survived by brother John Summers & his wife Judy, Shawn& Jill's daughter, Adrienne, Lisa's daughter's Cheyenne & Olivia Slemp; their children Zoey Mae Kuder and Kain A Warner and Addison Slemp, Cory Naught and daughter, Tabitha, sons Calvin & Anthony, Niece Selena Naught, and her son, Dawson Naught. Auntie Jan was a freat favorite with the  children. One of  of Jan's friends said she never heard Jan say a bad word about anyone and she was one of the most accepting people that she knew. Jan suffered some serious health challenges throughout her life but it never got her down until the very end. She enjoyed astrology, photography, reading, tarot, psychology and metaphysics. Jan's son Charles and his wife Erika have three children, Chailyn, CJ and Gabriel. They visited and flew kites with their grandma Jan.  She lived with her mother Sydney until her death in 2004 and sister Sally and brother-in-law, Clinton Naught for the last few years. in Cleveland, WA.  Rest in peace, Sweet Sister.
