Jesse Alcala, age 59, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018 at his home in Pasco, WA. Jesse beloved son of Luis and Teresa (Lopez) Alcala was born on November 25, 1958 in Toppenish, WA. He served in the United States Air Force from 1977-1981. Jesse started his employment in Hanford as a Security Guard in 1977 and retired in 1981. He was an avid sports fan; he loved watching the Seattle Mariners and Sea Hawks. Jesse prepared home cook meals for the games to share with family and friends. He trained in Martial Arts and earned a Black Belt. Jesse also loved to bike ride. Jesse was the sixth child of Luis and Teresa Alcala of Granger, WA. Besides his parents he is survived by five sisters Linda Andrews (Frank) of Richland, WA, Irma Lange of Spokane, WA, Helen Andrews (Donnie) of Grandview, WA, Irene Perez (Ray) and Delia Salas (David) all of Granger, WA, two brothers Louis Alcala (Shelley) of Zillah, WA and Sam Alcala of Yakima, WA. He is also survived by twenty three nieces and nephews and twenty eight great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by sister, Mary Jane Alcala and grandparents.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 10:00 am at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sunnyside, WA. Burial will follow with Military Honors at the Zillah Cemetery, Zillah, WA.
