There arnt very many good people left in this world and we just lost another one. Pops had an amazingly wonderful heart, and so cool stories. He helped me get through a really rough time in my life and for that I will be eternally grateful. To his family I'm so very sorry for your loss its not easy when a loved one passes, and its always harder when they are such wonderful ,careing individuals. My thoughts are with you

I was Johnny's step son from around 9 years old until I was 18 and went into the military. I remember many fishing trips above Granger to the 2 ponds there, many camping trips everywhere, and numerous poker nights with both the Metheny's and Roberts's families. I will never forget the advice Johnny gave me when I saw him last in 2011. Jason and Jeremy Even though I you and I have never met Johnny constantly remembered you even then. Please remember life is too short and stay in touch with everyone around you, from one son to another.
