Jose Felix Munoz

Jose Felix Munoz, age 74, longtime Grandview resident went to be in the arms of his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.  Jose was born on June 11, 1945 in Jalisco, Mexico the son of Maria del Refugio (Montoya) and Miguel Munoz.  On May 16, 1963 he married the love of his life Carmen Martinez in Mexico. In 1991 the Munoz Family settled in Grandview, WA after many years of migrating back and forth from Mexico.  He loved fishing, visits to the casinos, soccer and last but not least spending time with his precious family. 

Jose is survived by his wife of fifty-six years Carmen Munoz. Children Josefina Navarro (Juan), Antonio Munoz (Eva), Leticia Munoz, Maricela Munoz (Julio Ruiz), Maria del Carmen Munoz (Martin Zuniga), Maria Plascencia (Eric Solis), Elizabeth Munoz, Felix Munoz (Maria Noemi) and Gabriela Munoz (Rene Gutierrez).  Grandchildren Jose, Guadalupe, Gustavo, Ricardo, Sandra, Alberto, Juan Pablo, Miryam, Veronica, Gabriela, Noemi, John Anthony, Aaron, Michael, Susana, Ashley, Felix Emanuel, Vanessa, Julio, Jonathan, Emily, Ricardo, Alex, Estefany, Rene, Freddy, Antonio, Alberto, Alonzo and  Alondra.  Great grandchildren Leyla, Aven, Liam, Aria, Gabriel, Mateo, Liliana, Kassandra, Guadalupe, Roel, Rosy, Lucy, Victoria, Jose Emanuel, Jose Emiliano, Sebastian, Valentina, Jose Luis and  Leandro Rene.  He is also survived by three brothers and three sisters. Jose is preceded in death by his parents, Maria del Refugio and Miguel Munoz and infant son Alberto.

Viewing and visitation will be held on Monday, July 15, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Grandview, WA. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview, WA.  Burial will follow at the Grandview Cemetery under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home, Grandview, WA.  Those wishing to sign Jose’s online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com  Smith Funeral Home Grandview in care of arrangements
