Kenny Culver was one of the kindest people I've ever known, and I was honored to become an unofficial member of the Culvers' extended family almost immediately after moving to Sunnyside 30 years ago. I remember digging ditches for a sprinkler system (in someone else's yard) with Kenny and some other men. Kenny, then in his mid-sixties, was by far the oldest in the group, but I think he outworked us all. Kenny was constantly helping others and serving in the church, always with a cheery, Christ-like attitude. The world was a better place because of Kenny, and he will be greatly missed.

Kenny was a special part of the Sunnyside Church of God. He faithfully served all of us, so many times without even being asked. He had a twinkle in his eyes, which always led me to believe his sense of humor was much greater than he let on! He and Wanda were so supportive of Marvin and me while we served there. Many great meals with the Just Older Youth, and fellowship in many situations. I so appreciated this wonderful family. "There will be a day...." We'll meet again.

We are so very sorry for your Loss! It has been a Blessing to have had Kenny as our neighbor and friend the last 35 years. He was always looking out for his neighbors and was there to lend a helping hand. You will be sorely missed but we will not miss seeing you in pain and hurting. You have been a great Christian man and you will surely have a special place in Heaven. Till we meet again!
