Lisa Gonzalez

Our beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt, God Mother and friend, Lisa H. Gonzalez, age 50,  longtime Mabton, WA resident went to be in the arms of her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at her home in Mabton, WA.  Lisa was born on March 21, 1968 in Toppenish, WA the daughter of Noemi (Hernandez) and Ramiro Gonzalez. 

She received her education in Mabton, WA and later received her GED from Heritage University in Toppenish, WA.   Lisa was the life of the party, she loved to dance, shop, spending time being outdoors.   Her most precious time was with her grandchildren, especially summer vacations and traveling to visit them in California.  Lunch dates with her son, Angel were very special times spent together. Lisa attended the Cornerstone Church in Sunnyside.  

Lisa is survived by her children, Rebecca Palomino (Eduardo) and Adrianna Gonzalez all of Corning, CA.  Angel Perez of Mt. Vernon, WA.  Mother, Noemi Gonzalez  of Mabton, WA and five grandchildren.    Sibling Ray Gonzalez (Estella) of Stanfield,OR, Elias Gonzalez of Walla Walla, WA, Armando Gonzalez, Noe Gonzalez (Cindy) of Mabton, WA, Iris Lara (Pedro) of Sunnyside, WA and Ramiro Gonzalez Jr. (Norma) of Duncan, OK.

She is preceded in death by her father, Ramiro Gonzalez,  maternal and paternal grandparents, one brother Tony Gonzalez and a  great great great niece, Divina Soliman. 

Viewing and visitation will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA.  Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA.  Burial to follow at the Mabton Cemetery under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA.  Those wishing to sign Lisa’s online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com   Smith Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
