Maria Valencia Obituary

OUR BELOVED MOTHER,  Maria Trinidad 'Trina' Valencia Ceja went to be with her Lord on July 12, 2018 while surrounded by her loving family-She was born in La Cocina Michoacan, Mexico to Agapito Ceja and Maria Ontiveros. Had 4 brothers and 7 sisters: Jose, Francisco, Chon, Jesus, Paula, Irene, Josefa, Librada, Maria, Rafaela and Agapita. Mom lived a happy chidhood life and shared many wonderful memories about growing up with her siblings-Mom loved her parents , brothers and sisters.

Mom married  dad, Leonel Valencia, at the young age of 18 and had 11 children, 6 boys and 5 girls. She was a wonderful mother to: Manuel, Alfonso, Yolanda, Armando, Rafael, Connie, Marcos, Rosalba, Rocio, Javier and Elvia. We are so blessed for having a mother like her. She was the beloved granny, or as they would call her 'ama' to over 40 grandchildren and over 30 great-grand children. They all miss and love her. Mom was an amazing and strong woman. She was loved by anyone who ever met her,  always a warm smile on her face. If love alone could have save her, she would have lived forever...

When mom and dad came to the United States, they made  Grandview, WA their home. They later moved to Sunnyside, which was mom's final place of residence. She was a very devoted and faithful christian and attended Apostolic Assembly in Grandview. She was a Godly woman who loved reading her bible and praying. She loved her Pastor, brothers and sisters in Christ

Mom loved all types of flowers, but sunflowers were her most favorite. Her favorite color was purple, any shade of purple. Her favorite past time was putting together puzzles, she collected many of them throughout the years.

She is survived by her husband, all 11 children, two sisters and two brothers. She is proceeded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and five sisters. One granddaughter, Karina J. Mendoza. They are all together now, rejoicing in eachother's company.

For anyone attending her services, mom was not very fond of black clothing, please feel free to wear colors.

'Mama, gracias por darnos la vida, Gracias por tu amor y por todos los bellos momentos que compartimos junto a ti. No pasara un dia en el que no te recordaremos. Sabemos que ahora estas junto a tu creador. Que El te llamo y que ahi no tienes mas dolor ni tristeza. Es tan dificil no abrazarte y bezarte, no sentir tu calor, oler tu aroma. Madrecita, no te decimos adios si no asta pronto. Para nosotros sera una eternidad asta el dia que estemos juntos de nuevo, pero asta que ese dia llegue, te seguiremos extranando y amando con cada respiro y cada latido de nuestros corazones. Este no es un adios...si no asta luego, querida mama.

Amandote eternamente, tu familia'
