Mary Ann Abercrombie, 82, went to be in the arms of her Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 25, 2018 in Prosser,WA. Mary Ann was born on October 23, 1935 in Sunnyside, WA the daughter of Margaret Carolyn (Amundson) and Vern Mason. She graduated from Sunnyside High School in 1953 where she played in the marching band. She attended Yakima Comm. College and then Ellensburg College. In 1956 she married Richard Fuller, they moved to Renton, WA and had five children Robert, Carolyn, Steve, Susan and Sheri. After a divorce, she returned to Sunnyside WA. She later married R.L. Abercrombie in Sunnyside, WA in 1979 and they made their home in Wapato, WA where Mary Ann worked in retail. She loved living in the country and having dogs, cats, chickens, horses, and cows. R.L. passed away in 1999 and Mary Ann returned to Sunnyside to live until moving to Prosser Sun Terrace in 2015. She enjoyed reading, planning class reunions, spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary Ann also enjoyed her church family at the Sunnyside First Baptist Church.
Mary Ann is survived by sister Judy Marshall, brothers Mike (Sherrie) Mason, Mark (Karen) Mason. Children Robert (Cindy) Fuller, Carolyn (Rhon) Raschko, Steve Fuller (Kristi Reed), Susan (Brad) Huwe, and Sheri Elliott. 13 Grandchildren: Jeff Fuller, Josh Raschko, Jessica Long, Craig Fuller, Corryn Koopmans, Christina Fuller, Danielle Zirbel, Randall Ross, Paige Lawson, Brenna Huwe, Kendra Sedgwick, Nathanial Oppenheimer, Alex Sedgwick. 7 Great Grand Children: Molly Fuller, Makenzie Fuller, Madison Fuller, Emmalynn Long, Bailey Fuller, Lilah Wood, Lucas Koopmans.
She is preceded in death by her husband RL “Bob” Abercrombie, mother Margaret Amundson Mason, father Vern Mason, stepmother Arthene Mason, son-in-law Donald Elliott. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Sunnyside First Baptist Church.
Memorial Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA. Private Family inurnment will be held at a later date.
