We have been Pat and Gene's neighbors since 1976. Both were wonderful people.
In later years Pat would feed our cat when Ray and I were gone on a trip and she was wonderful in watching out for our neighborhood.
After her operation we brought her a bouquet of flowers and left a note on the vase. She was sleeping so soundly that we didn't want to wake her. Hopefully, she saw them as they were picked just for her.
Pat also volunteered at her church by helping out making pies, gathering items for the children to make a craft item and so on.
We will greatly miss our friend and neighbor. She delighted in talking about her two grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.

I am so sorry. I always enjoyed my visits with her when I lived in Grandview and we were both downtown. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
