Penny Lanette Taylor age 69, of Richland, went home to be with the Lord on November 12th, 2016 surrounded by her family. While it would have been better for us if she remained, having fought the good fight and desiring the better things that await those in Christ Jesus, she slipped the surely bonds of this world and entered eternity.
Penny was born in Toppenish, WA on June 12, 1947 to Clifford Reeves and Sylvia (Berry). She grew up in Sunnyside, WA where she met the love of her life, Buddy Taylor. They married in Renton, WA fifty-one years ago while working at Boeing. The couple raised their family in Sunnyside and moved to Richland in 1992 where she continued her long career with the Rite-Aid Corporation.
Penny was a selfless and humble saint, beloved mother, wife, sister, grandmother, and daughter, who rose above a meager and humble childhood to become the matriarch of her vivacious and vibrant family that will carry her indelible imprint for the generations she leaves behind and ones to follow.
Penny is survived by her husband, Buddy Taylor of Richland, four daughters, Terra Webster (Steven) of Houston; Lana Siemon of Kennewick; Jennifer Fulton (Troy) of Richland; and Dawnee Doggett (Martin) of Richland; seven grandchildren, Kayla and Tanner Siemon; Rachel Buckley, Drew and Kelsey Fulton, and Valentina and Violet Webster. She is also survived by her brothers Larry Reeves and Raymond Harvie and special family friend Don Warren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Buddy Taylor; and her sister, Lana Stanton.
