Linda reminded me last Friday that we first met when I was two years old. Dear friends of our family for over forty five years. We all shared many camping and fishing trips together as well as countless Sunday visits in a time when that was just what people did. I will always cherish very fond memories of Ralph, always greeted with a smile and a kind word. Our deepest heartfelt condolences to your entire family.

Linda, Christie and family,
Words don't begin to adequately express my true feelings and grief. I can't remember a time when Ralph and all of you weren't a part of my life. My best childhood memories include all of you. I know that his pain is finally gone and that he is sitting in a camp chair next to Dub, a cup of coffee and a fishing pole near by.
Our love to all of you at this time.

I was blessed with the time we would spend talking about family, friends, life and life lessons. To say this time will be difficult is an understatement. Ralph has always been there for the whole family in a big way, and for all of you in an even bigger way. Loving, laughing, pranking, and enjoying the moments life brought his way. What an honor to have been able to call him uncle and to have had the time growing up around him and all of you. To be able to have shared in his dedication to Christ and his recent baptism was such an honor. I love all of you and I will miss him so much. Know that I am praying for strength for you all.

I grew up with the Barnes family. Lifelong family friends. I will always remember camping and going to their house out at the end of Griffin Rd when I was a child. Losing people that have been a part of who we are as people and families is tough. My parents are grieving, my siblings, and our own little family. Such a sweet and kind man. Quiet, gentle, and always a smile when I'd see him. Mainly memories of growing up, but seeing Ralph and Linda at our home for my Dad's 80th Birthday Celebration was very special, as Ralph was ill, and still made the dinner for my Dad, and our family.
I will always think of Ralph with a smile, and a kind word to say. Our deep, deep condolences to Linda and Christie, and all extended family, and always remember that you are part of my family and that we love you.
Rest peacefully Ralph, pain free, and with all of the people that love you supporting those left behind. Heaven is a better place with you there, even quieter and more peaceful. Sweet, sweet man.

Aunt Linda, Christie and Family. Going to miss Uncle Ralph terribly, but so glad to know he doesn't suffer anymore. It's hard to watch your family hurt, and my heart aches for you, but praying a comfort that only God can provide to surround you in the most difficult of times. Love you all.
