Sallie Mae (Collins) Elliott, 65, passed away peacefully to be with our Lord on Feb. 6, 2018 in the early morning hours. Born May 16, 1952 to Floyd James and Bernese Lala (Cooley) Collins. Sallie is the fourth child of six children. Sallie was a staunch matriarch who fiercely loved her family. She was the shoulder on which we cried, and the shelter we sought. Our Mother touched the hearts of many people and there are many who love her like a mom or a Meme. She is survived by her siblings Wesley Lee Collins Sr., James Edward Collins, Martha Jo (Collins) Clemens, Mary Lou (Collins) Moran and Timothy Robert Floyd Collins.
She is also survived by her two daughters, Yvette (Tamara Jane Collins) Marie Hansen, spouse Alan Hansen of Reno, Nevada, Geannie R. Heitschmidt (Elliott) of Moses Lake, WA. A very special great nephew Ryan Lee Davis, twenty eight who she helped raise and eight grandchildren Christopher Cade Baker 24, James Alan Hansen 22, Jessica Jane Hansen 22, Kellie Mae Holliday Potter 21 (spouse Monite Lee Holliday Potter 21), Nicholas Joseph Hansen 20, Madison Grace Heitschmidt 20, Karlee Bernese Heitschmidt 18, Geordan Elizabeth Heitschmidt 16, one great grandson Timothy Ryan Holliday Potter 2 and an unborn great granddaughter Kelsey Len Holliday Potter due June 8, 2018 and numerous great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Timothy L. Elliott on July 13, 2014. His passing saddened us all but it hastened Sallie’s desire to join him. We are sure they are at peace together, at this time.
