Tondra Dawn Emery

Tondra Dawn Emery, passed April 27th, 2017, she was 54 years young.
A beautiful Wife, mother, and grandmother, has returned home today, flying higher than she has ever before. Tondra Dawn Emery born in Tacoma WA. April 1st 1963.

Everyone has a story, for my mother, a story of love, and a story of hardships. My mother had many ups and downs, there were good times, and there were bad times, but through it all, one thing remained, her strength, and dedication. My mother fought the impossible battles, and conquered so many trials. 

A loving friend, and wife, she dedicated her life to her husband and children. She loved the great outdoors, fishing, camping, and driving. My mother had a way about her, and she always had the need to be wild and free. The true life of the party, she surely lit the room.

As a child, my mother would say let’s go, and we would pile in to the family car. Music blaring, with anything from the Oz Man, Mamma I'm coming home, to Amazing grace, us kids would be sitting in the back seat of the car, yelling through the music, always trying to ask mamma where we are going? And, she would always reply "I'm going crazy, wanna go?".  As a child, I would always beg to know where we were headed. Honestly, at that time no, I didn't want to go crazy, and it would absolutely drive us kids insane, she would just say it over, and over, with a smile on her face. 

And, now all I can say is Momma, I think any one of us, would do anything just to climb in to the family car and go "CRAZY" one last time.

It has been a long time coming, we have watched our loved one, my mother suffer for 13 years, and we are distraught, and relieved, she looked so beautiful and at peace. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Robert J. Emery (Grandview WA.). Her children: Lindsay Jones-Patrick Daniel (Grandview WA.) Levi Jones (Pasco WA.) Grandchildren: Anissa L. Daniel, Micah E. Daniel, Mariyah Birdine-Daniel, Isaiah E. Daniel, Kyiah R. Daniel, Evan Pena-Jones and five brothers and sisters. 

We love u mom, we will never forget the sacrifices that were made, your dedication, and your love. You gave so much to those around you, and may we only continue to do so, in your name!!  Momma you’re free! May you Rest in Peace. 

Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Anchor Point Church in Grandview, WA. Those wishing to sign Tondra’s online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com Smith Funeral Homes in care of arrangements.
