William F. (Bill) Todd

April 2, 1932 – October 1, 2017

Bill Todd , of Grandview, passed away the night of October 1st at the age of 85.  Bill was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather.  Farmer, Rancher, Dairyman, Korean War Veteran, Mason, Mariner and Seahawk fan, and cancer survivor are just a few of the words that describe Bill.  A love of animals, hard work and being outside dictated how Bill spent most of his life. While he never met a dog he didn’t like, he wasn’t always fond of cats, but, strangely enough, he met one as stubborn and persistent as he was, who adopted him, and wormed her way past his façade and saw him for the truly good soul he was.

Bill is survived by his wife, Darlene, children Glen (Joyce) Todd, Susan (Ted) Desallier, and John (Tami) Todd. Bill is also survived by grandchildren Dustin Knight, Billy Knight, McKenna Elliott, Kristen Desallier, Mackenzie Mazingo, Michael Wilson, Chase Todd, and Taryn Todd, and many great grandchildren.  Further, Bill is survived by his sister Mary Schafer and her children.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Bethany Community Church in Grandview, WA. (201 Birch Ave.) In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Charity of your choice.
