Abel Arturo Rojas

Abel A. Rojas age 68 of Granger, WA passed away on January 28, 2025 in Sunnyside, WA. Abel was born July 14, 1956 in Mt. Vernon, WA the son of Pedro and Juanita (Hernandez) Rojas.  He graduated from Granger High School. In August of 1976 Abel enlisted into the US Air Force. He was an Aircraft Maintenance MSGT until 2003. Abel married Pamela Mudd in Granger, WA. on June 25, 2011. Abel loved taking care of his ranch and taking care of his dogs. He also enjoyed watching sports like his grandkids. Abel was a big athlete in his youth, especially basketball. 

Abel is survived by his loving wife Pamela Rojas of Granger, WA., children Ginella and Matt Sweeney, Holbrook, NE, Amy and Jimmie Burris, Medical Lake, WA, Jaclyn and David Mueller, Osmond, NE, Step Children Savanah Costelloe and Joe Zelkan, Medical Lake, WA, Mercedes Costelloe, Granger, WA and Carlton Massey, Granger, WA.   Nine grandchildren Sophie and Joseph Brandt, Emily Brandt, Norah, Layla and Lucas Burris, Isaac Mueller, Owen and Lucas Zelkan. He also survived by siblings Pete and Viola Rojas, Irma and Uriel Mendoza, Celina and Rick Garza, Salvador Rojas, Delia and Lupe Orozco, Norma and Geraldo Hernandez, Joe Rojas, Dan and Coletta Rojas, Linda and Ruben Pena, Maria Isabel and Mario Sanchez, Rebecca and Angel Balderas, Cruz and Brock Genereux and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by His parents Pedro and Juanita Rojas and Mary Ellen Sears, Arnold Rojas, Emily Brandt.
