Adelina Paz Obituary

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend Adelina “La Chata” Paz went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, January 24, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Adelina was born May 26, 1944 in Coalcoman, Michoacán, Mexico the daughter of Jesus and Florita Cazarez. Adelina married Salvador Paz on February 20, 1966 in Coalcoman, Mexico. They had celebrated 50 years of marriage before Salvador passed away in 2016.  Adelina worked as a agriculture laborer and a loving house wife for all of her years. She enjoyed gardening, bird feeding, singing and going for walks. Adelina loved spending time with her friends and family. She was a member of the El Buen Pastor Church in Sunnyside, WA.

Adelina is survived by four children, Tino and Yadira Paz of Salem, OR, Mauricio and Christina Paz of Camas, WA, Rosie and Lupe Montelongo of Prosser, WA and Gracie and Jorge Ayala of Santa Maria, CA. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; MJ, Tony, Ethan, Marcos, Cindy, Rosealie, Araceli, Belinda, Immanuel, Jesse, Mayra, Gina and Gisel, eight great grandchildren; Alyssia, Mateo, Perla, Josue Jr., Brianna, Caleb, Adalynn, Felipe Jr., four siblings; Carolina Zepeda, Alicia Cazarez, Martin Cazarez and Ema Cazarez and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Salvador “Chavita” Paz, parents Jesus and Florita Cazarez, one daughter Cruzita Paz and five siblings Antonio Cazarez, Socorro Cazarez, Salud Lopez, Lupe Paz and Angelina Cazarez.

Viewing and visitation will be held Monday, January 31, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sunnyside, WA. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sunnyside, WA with burial to follow at the Grandview Cemetery in Grandview, WA. Nuestra amada madre, abuela, bisabuela, hermana, tía y amiga Adelina “La Chata” Paz partió a estar con su Padre Celestial el lunes 24 de enero del 2022 rodeada de su amada familia. Adelina nació el 26 de mayo de 1944 en Coalcoman, Michoacán, México, hija de Jesús y Florita Cazarez. Adelina se casó con Salvador Paz el 20 de febrero de 1966 en Coalcoman, México. Habían celebrado 50 años de matrimonio antes de que Salvador falleciera en 2016. Adelina trabajó como trabajadora agrícola y ama de casa amorosa durante todos sus años. Le gustaba la jardinería, alimentar a los pájaros, cantar y salir a caminar. Adelina amaba pasar tiempo con sus amigos y familiares. Fue miembro de la Iglesia El Buen Pastor en Sunnyside, WA.

A Adelina le sobreviven cuatro hijos, Tino y Yadira Paz de Salem, OR, Mauricio y Christina Paz de Camas, WA, Rosie y Lupe Montelongo de Prosser, WA y Gracie y Jorge Ayala de Santa Maria, CA. También le sobreviven trece nietos; MJ, Tony, Ethan, Marcos, Cindy, Rosealie, Araceli, Belinda, Immanuel, Jesse, Mayra, Gina y Gisel, ocho bisnietos; Alyssia, Mateo, Perla, Josue Jr., Brianna, Caleb, Adalynn, Felipe Jr., cuatro hermanos; Carolina Zepeda, Alicia Cazarez, Martin Cazarez y Ema Cazarez y numerosas sobrinas y sobrinos. Le precedieron en la muerte su esposo Salvador “Chavita” Paz, sus padres Jesús y Florita Cazarez, una hija Cruzita Paz y cinco hermanos Antonio Cazarez, Socorro Cazarez, Salud Lopez, Lupe Paz y Angelina Cazarez.
