With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Adolfo Martin “Jr.”, who departed this life on May 31, 2025, at the age of 59. Born in Sunnyside, WA on February 7, 1966, Jr. lived a life marked by quiet strength, deep loyalty, and unwavering love for his family and friends.
Jr. was known for his kind heart, sharp sense of humor, and the steady presence he provided to everyone who knew him. Whether through a shared laugh, a helping hand, or simply his company, Jr. left a lasting mark on those around him.
He is survived by his beloved children: Erika, Laura, Marcus, and Aliyah Martin, and Christina Saenz Lara. He also leaves behind 13 cherished grandchildren, and his loving siblings: Mimi, Brenda, Amy, and Lindsey Martin, and Ben and Lisa Mujica. Jr. was a proud uncle to 55 nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in his heart.
Jr. was a man with a genuine heart and always there when you needed him, never asking for anything in return. He had an unshakable love for sports basketball (Lakers) football (LA Rams), and baseball(LA Dodgers) were more than just games to him; they were traditions, memories, and a way to connect with others. Whether he was watching his favorite teams, debating stats, or sharing game-day excitement with family and friends, sports were a joyful part of his life.
A private memorial service will be held in accordance with Jr.’s wishes. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor his memory by spending time with those you love, offering kindness to a neighbor, and never taking time or life for granted.
