At the age of four, Adrienne, with her parents moved to Sunnyside, Washington where her dad was manager of Lee Semon Men's Wear.

She received her early education in Sunnyside and graduated from Sunnyside High School in 1951. She attended Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri and then Central Washington College in Ellensburg, Washington.

While at Central, she met and married E. Neil Quinnell. They settled in Grandview, Washington where they raised their family on a small cherry farm.

Adrienne was a special education teacher. She loved family, friends, teaching, gardening, knitting, and golf. She was always ready to help others.

Not only was Adrienne trained in teaching special education, she was also trained in teaching the deaf and was chosen to travel to California and live with the actor Spencer Tracy and help teach his deaf son, John Tracy.

Preceding Adrienne in death were her parents and her husbands, E. Neil Quinnell and Nels Ivar Werner. Also, her son Willie (William) Quinnell died in 2022.

She is survived by her daughter, Colleen B Quinnell and her son, Jeffery A. Quinnell. She had no siblings.

She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.

On the morning my mom died I heard the sound of geese and as I looked up into the foggy sky, I saw a huge beautiful skein of white snow geese that circled above me three times and then flew off to the east and faded into the fog. Rest in peace, Mom. Love, Your Favorite Daughter, Colleen.
